ADRDS
Automated Debt Review Dispute System
Connecting Consumers Directly with the NCR
The Automated Debt Review Dispute System (ADRDS)
The ADRDS is the only system that has been specifically developed to connect consumers directly with the NCR Debt Review Dispute and Resolution Department.
Only the NCR can investigate, resolve and remove the debt review flag
"The ADRDS’s unique ability to connect consumers directly with the NCR allows NCR Complaints and Dispute officials to instantly access all facts (affidavits) and prescribed dispute documentation in a single, structured submission. This enables them to test the merits of the dispute in a fraction of the usual time, swiftly initiate an investigation, and drive resolution with unprecedented efficiency."
In a sense, some disputes can be resolved within 8 hours!
Free Debt Review Dispute and Removal
🔹Why Free?
Over a million South Africans are stuck with an outdated debt review status at credit bureaus—one that no longer reflects their real financial situation. It’s completely incorrect, yet still legally recognized, blocking them from accessing credit, home loans, or even job opportunities.
The media is exposing this growing crisis, and pressure is mounting on the NCR and DTI to take action.
The AACS has designed and is presenting the Automated Debt Review Dispute System (ADRDS) to the DTI as a solution to digitize and automate the debt review dispute process, ensuring consumer disputes are resolved with efficiency, fairness, transparency and with the urgency they deserve.
🔹Pilot Project
The AACS's mandate is to log 100 disputes in 1 month for the DTI to evaluate the system's efficiency and impact on resolution time frames.
🔹Identified NCR Dispute Process Problems:
The current debt review dispute process means:
❌ Calling a call center, they email you a dispute form – and then, silence.
❌Your call is not documented or indexed (no reference)
❌ If you don’t return the dispute form, your case is as good as dead.
❌ Back and forth emails to collect and submit documents and affidavit
❌ No real tracking, no updates, no urgency.
❌ Disputes can take between 30 - 90 days to resolve and finalize
❌The resolution of your case mostly depends on your constant follow ups.

The Automated Debt Review Dispute System
What is the ADRDS?
The Automated Debt Review Dispute System (ADRDS) is the only system designed to connect consumers directly with the NCR Debt Review Dispute Department—without the frustration of endless phone calls and back-and-forth emails that often lead nowhere.
🔹How Does It Work?
The ADRDS simplifies and speeds up the NCR dispute resolution process by establishing the debt counsellor details and identifying non-compliance issues in the placement of your debt review flag and reporting them directly to the NCR for investigation. If non-compliance is found, you’ll receive:
✅ Instant email notification of identified non-compliance issues
✅ NCR prescribed dispute documents (Form29)
✅ Free legal dispute affidavit (required by NCR to initiate investigation).
🔹Automated Dispute Processing
Once you return the dispute documents and the commissioned affidavit, the system will:
✔️ Automatically launch your dispute with the NCR.
✔️ Send you a copy of the dispute email for your records.
✔️ Send you guidelines to track your case progress.
✔️ Ensure the NCR acknowledges your dispute and resolves fairly and efficiently.
🔹Tracking & Follow-ups:
The ADRDS does not only submit your dispute—it constantly monitor the NCR progress by triggering daily/weekly feedback requests to the NCR until NCR acknowledges your case. You’ll be copied on these feedback request updates, so you can track your case progress every step of the way.
